I've been wanting to try my hand at weaponry for a while now, and what better choice than the good ol' AK-47.
This is a game-ready study of the classic early Cold War Kalashnikov. The goal of this project was to tackle a weapon everyone knows while pushing myself to texture it as realistically and accurately as possible. I opted for an AKM style slant muzzle as if to show field use and replacement by a soldier.
With this being my first gun model, I am keen to improve and get better at making textures for hard surface steel and weapons.
